Jeans that don't pull or wrinkle in unwanted places plus blouses and t-shirts that fit well and suit the character just right round out the wardrobe. If the foundation clothes are dark colors that can allow them to mix and match, then the bright colors can come in with the shirts, bags, scarves, and jewelry.
Again, well chosen, none of these things ought to max out your credit card or clean your wallet. Keep your look fresh by changing the accessories and tops seasonally.
